Getting Started — Student

Welcome to Tawaasal. As a student, you can view your homework assignments, check your grades, see your attendance history, track your merit points, and stay informed about school announcements and events.

Logging In

1. Open your browser and go to your school's Tawaasal URL (for example, yourschool.tawaasal.app).
2. Enter your school code, then your email address and password.
3. If your school requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), enter the verification code from your authenticator app.
4. You will be taken to your Dashboard.

4. 4Sign In takes you to your Dashboard.

First-time Login

Your school administrator or teacher will have created your account. Check your email for an invitation with instructions to set up your password. If you have not received an email, ask your school administrator for help.

The Dashboard

Your dashboard is your home base. It shows:

• Upcoming homework assignments and their due dates
• Your recent grades
• School announcements
• Quick links to important areas

3. 3Needs attention lists homework due and classes for today.
4. 4Quick Actions link straight to homework, performance, classes and guardians.

What You Can Do on Tawaasal

Area	Description
Homework	View assignments, read instructions, download attachments, and submit your work
Grades	Check your grades for each subject, view assessments, and track your performance
Attendance	See your attendance history (present, absent, late, excused)
Merit Points	View merit points awarded by your teachers
Calendar	See the academic calendar including terms, holidays, and events
Announcements	Read school-wide and student-specific announcements
Messages	Send and receive messages within the school
Profile	Manage your personal information and account settings
My Guardians	View the guardians linked to your account

Setting Up Your Account

After your first login:

1. Update your profile — Go to Profile and check that your name and contact information are correct.
2. Set preferences — Go to Preferences to choose your language (English or Arabic) and notification settings.

1. 1The Notifications tab controls email, SMS, push and in-app alerts by category.
2. 2The Appearance tab sets light, dark or system theme.
3. 3The Language tab sets your display language.

3. Check your homework — Navigate to My Homework to see any pending assignments.
4. Review the calendar — Look at the academic calendar to see upcoming events and holidays.

Navigating the Platform

• Use the sidebar on the left to navigate between different areas.
• Use the search bar at the top to quickly find pages or content.
• Click on notifications (bell icon) to see recent updates.
