Viewing Grades

Tawaasal lets you view your grades across all subjects, track your performance over time, and access your report cards when they are published.

Accessing Your Grades

1. Navigate to My Grades from the sidebar.
2. You will see an overview of your grades organized by subject.

Understanding the Grades View

Your grades page shows:

1. 1My Grades in the sidebar opens this page.
2. 2Filter the whole page to one term.
3. 3Switch to My Report Cards for published report cards.
4. 4Overall Performance — your class average, best subject, total assessments, and class rank.

• Subject — Each subject you are enrolled in.
• Assessments — Individual grades for each quiz, test, exam, or project.
• Average — Your calculated average for each subject (where applicable).
• Grading Scale — How your raw score maps to a letter grade or grade band (e.g., 85% = A).

Click on any subject to expand and see the individual assessments and their scores.

Viewing Individual Assessments

For each assessment, you can see:

• Assessment title (e.g., "Unit 2 Quiz", "Midterm Exam")
• Date the assessment was given
• Your score and the maximum possible marks
• Class average (if shown by your school)

Performance Tracking

The My Performance page gives you a broader view:

1. Navigate to My Performance from the sidebar.
2. View your academic performance trends, including:
   • How your grades have changed over time
   • Your standing compared to class averages
   • Strengths and areas for improvement across subjects

Visibility

The information shown on your performance page depends on your school's configuration. Some schools show class averages and rankings; others show only your individual results.

Report Cards

At the end of each term, your school may publish report cards:

1. Navigate to My Grades or look for a Report Cards section.
2. Select the term you want to view.

3. Your report card shows:
   • Grades for each subject
   • Teacher comments
   • Attendance summary
   • Overall performance indicators

Downloading Report Cards

If your school allows it, you may be able to download or print your report card as a PDF.

Merit Points

In addition to academic grades, you may earn merit points from your teachers:

1. Navigate to My Merit Points from the sidebar.
2. View your total merit points and a history of awards.
3. Each merit entry shows:
   • The teacher who awarded it
   • The category (e.g., academic achievement, good behaviour, participation)
   • The number of points
   • The date it was awarded

Tips

• Check grades regularly — New grades are added as your teachers complete assessments.
• Review teacher comments — Report card comments often contain valuable advice for improvement.
• Track your progress — Use the performance page to identify subjects where you are improving or need extra effort.
• Discuss with your guardian — Your guardians can also see your grades through their own portal, so you can discuss your progress together.
