Getting Started — School Admin

As a school administrator, you have full control over your school's Tawaasal instance. This guide walks you through logging in for the first time and familiarizing yourself with the key areas of the platform.

Logging In

  1. Open your browser and navigate to your school's Tawaasal URL (for example, yourschool.tawaasal.app).
  2. Enter your school code, then your email address and password on the login page.
  3. If your school has enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you will be prompted to enter a verification code from your authenticator app.
  4. After successful authentication, you will be taken to your Dashboard.
  1. Enter your school code — your school will have given you this, and sign-in will not work without it.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Sign In takes you to your Dashboard.
First-time Login

If this is your very first login, your school's super administrator will have created your account. Check your email for an invitation with a temporary password. You will be prompted to set a new password on first login.

The Dashboard

Your dashboard provides a high-level overview of your school's activity, including:

  • Quick access to key management areas (Users & Teams, Academic, Calendar)
  • Recent announcements
  • Pending approvals (such as new user registrations)
  • Summary statistics for attendance and other metrics
  1. Quick links to key management areas, including Users & Teams, live in the sidebar.
  2. Needs attention lists pending items such as leave requests awaiting a decision.
  3. A summary of attendance for today appears here.
  4. The People panel summarises your student, teacher and guardian counts.
